My car needs a new tailgate, tailgate glass, rear panel, bumper support, bumper, badges and fog lamp.
The boot floor needs to be repaired.
The car was not put onto ramps so their could be a few other things needing to be done.
The estimate cost is around £2500, but the price of the pars were not looked up on the computer.

If it doesn't work out economically viable (can't remember the year of your car) sell it for spares and buy this (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12521) for £3500.

Who was the quote from? That seems to be on the cheap side!! They won't write it off unless that quote is miles out, though. Make as sure as you can that someone reputable is doing the work!

That quote was by a mitsubishi/ralliart dealer! I'm expecting the actual cost to be much higher though.

Just an update, the insurance company wants an independant assessor to look at my car. Is this normal or is this because my car is a borderling write off? I'm asking this as i've never had an accident out of work, and my wife didnt need a second assessment when she had her crash.

Perfectly normal.

Its just to make sure they don't get done.

In my case a few years ago the independent accessor actually increased the pay out.
