For all of you out there that have driven an un-modded and a modified car, which did you prefer?

My VR4 has a few mods, but the other day I decided to go down to a local dealer and test drive an unmodded one.

The unmodified car was quieter, more comfortable and generally a more pleasant driving experience. On the down side it had heavy steering and was a bit slow.

All-in-all it is a tough choice to choose between them. What does everyone else think, comfort or performance?

you do lose some of the original driving experience when modifying it (mainly stuff like suspension and different tyre/alloy choices) and even more so when you want your engine to do more than it was intended for when it came out of the factory, but you gain the fun factor

some days i drive like a sunday driver simply because i cant be faffed to cane it, and im in no hurry, unless some a-hole in a bavarian company car comes up and is impatient, then kickc down and goodbye! ;)
