Hi guys,
just a sad little note to tell you that i am going to do a last service for my 1996 VR4, and sell it. No rush, it is in Moscow, and i have bought a second hand Audi S6 which will take over.
Before anybody starts talking about infidelity, i must admit that i had no issues with that car for two years, and it is reliable. However, left hand drive is more practical in Moscow, where all the cars are like that, and also i had a few gripes on the VR4:
brakes are a little weak
it takes quite a lot of space to turn
seats are not sporty enough (don't have the recaro option)
the steering could be a tad firmer at neutral point
All in all, i will keep a very positive memory of these two years, and look forward to three trouble-freeyears with a 340 hp black S6, black leather recaros with an optional rear air suspension, and a gps that works in Europe (been in the water since the car left Siberia).
Have fun with your cars, and be nice to fast Audis too !
