I want to get a DVD recorder with hard disc to replace my aged VHS jobbie.

Anyone got one of these? Got any recommendations? What to look for? What features are impotant?

the panasonic one sounds good. not sure where i saw the advert though

get the one with the biggest hd you can find

basically this is what i would have if i i didnt have sky+ (if only the sky+ box came with a dvd recorder!)

Parents have s Sony one, don't know specs but they have had it for a year and are still very happy with it.
