View Full Version : WTB: Sat nav discs needed

i don't suspose that anyone out there has an english disc for my vr4's sat nav system? i've tried my local mitsubishi dealer and told them i have a genuine mitsubishi system in the car but when i mentioned it was an import they seem to loose interest! i've got the three disc's for japan but as i don't speak japanese or ever intend to drive over there they're about as much use to me as tits on a fish!!!!!!!!!!!

UK CD's are around £400 ! & that still wont make it work.:Cry1: it's all to do with the different system in japan. PAL as opposed to NTSC, or something. protech in Bristol can convert it for £1300 + vat for the sat nav. & £650 + vat for the TV !!!

jesus, i think i'll go down to the esso garage and spend six quid on a map!!!!! anyone want to buy a sat nav system???? lmao

at least the sat nav has a compass built in, so you can tell if your going in the right direction !!!:D :D

That is an obscene amount of cash! I am sure there must be someone on the site that has the knowledge!

I have dabbled with electronics and I cant see it being that expensive! If you can get a CD/DVD to borrow for, ahem, trial purposes! ;)

If you decide to get shot of it how much would you want??

i recently got my VR4 with the relevant jap sat nav. i looked into purchasing a UK version for £600. its all to do with the output of the sat nav to the screen in the dash.

You can get converters for NTSC to PAL... i am looking to do this conversion early next year...
