Standard Alloys, with Tyres

That i could either buy (cheap) or borrow for a month?

Hi Mate

When I sold my VR4 to my mate i gave him my phase 2 alloys with tyres.

Hes in Paisley and im sure he'd be tempted to let the lot go for cheap.

Hmm, not sure yet.

Don't know if you guys will remember, but i bought a set of Michellins, drove to Gairloch (west coast of scotland) and when i got back it was like driving on Jelly.. i thought i burnt out the tyre walls, was a rather spirited drive north.

Ive had those tyres at home since putting on the eagle F1's (Thread (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5166&highlight=eagle) which replaced those "burnt out" ones) - Im having them fitted today, so ill see what the crack is then, if they are bad, ill be back. otherwise, they may do untill i have the funds to get meh alloys.

I had 4 bald tyres on my car, and having just paid of the VR4, i didnt have any cash on me to by some new rubber. Hence the lend for a month, which would have let me be legal, saving me from a possible 12 points, and fine.

Anyways, pre eagle F1's I bought a set of Michellins. which I thought, i burnt the side walls on. The car was really odd to drive, and felt like driving on Jelly. Anyways, the tyres have been sat at the side of my house for the duration of the Eagles. I cleaned them up, too em to kwik fit, and had them fitted. They feel ok, not like what i rememeber them to feel like, so from my point of view, they will do untill i have saved to buy alloys/wheels.

Thank you for the offers, hwoever unless something drastic happens with these, i no longer require a loan of wheels/tyres. Thanks again for offering!
