Is this boot lid modified to allow greater access or is this how the saloons boot opens?

He He thats mine , the boot opening is acctualy pretty good , and the boot is caverous , the ****e we fit in that when we go on holiday is unreal , weeks worth of clothes and bedding for 2 adults and 2 sprogs , food for a couple of days , a tool box oh and a bike :inquisiti plus assorted other junk /help , the rear suspensoin is strong as well ( it'd feckin need to be by the time the missus has finished bringing bits out to go in the car )

Thanks, many saloons have a big boot but a really narrow opening, so can only be used for briefcases and umbrellas, This gives me the option of Saloon or Estate now i know i can get my stuff in it.

While your here, can you fit roof racks onto the saloon or does it need runners like the estate?

i belive you can , theres something about them in the owners manual
