Just a wee note to introduce myself. I've been one of those lurkers for a few months, but you seem a likeable lot.

I have a deep desire to get a VR-4, have done for ages. Had a couple of early Nineties 2L GLSi's then an 'R' reg V6-24 which met an early grave in 2003. :embarasse

In the meantime I have been plodding along in a 306DTurbo to scrimp and save towards a proper car! The rest of my cash goes on bikes. Hopefully I can get more info from here on how to get back to Galant ownership again.

Ritch: If you can find a prop shaft to graft on and fit a hundred extra ponies...it's a deal. Did I mention I would prefer black, not that I'm picky or owt.

The standard V6 is a lovely car though, I do miss the old girl.

The bikes are a modded '99 SV650s which is being streetfightered this winter, owned from new.
My long term project is a Gixxer Z. Take one '78 Kwak Z1R frame and lob in an '86 GSXR750 Slabbie engine rescued from eBay. Running gear is a bit of a mix. It should set my pants on fire, one day.

Brunty, do u ride? (if that's not a personal question)

Yup - had a CBR6 then TLS, finally KTM Duke which was sold this summer - I'll get something else when the finances allow me to run a VR4 and a bike, though the VR4 brings as big a smile to my face as the bikes did (well ish).

Why not post up a picture of your bikes on this thread. (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9142&page=1&pp=20&highlight=Duke)
