...well almost!

A lovely day today, so I decided to clean her up a bit and take some snaps.
This'll be the last time she looks like this - starting this week there are some major cosmetic changes on the way:
New colour, new headlights, new mirrors, lower ride height....enjoy :)

That looks nice, I like the facelift front bumper so much. Do you intend to get the other matching wheel arches?

That looks real nice. Love the black wheels with the red brembo's behind. And shiney too.

So, bored with the old, 'Manual vs Auto' and 'Saloon vs Legnum' arguments, Barry decided to start a new row within the club! :evil2: /grr

- Car looks excellent Gary. Those wheels suit the paintwork. /yes

Please let us know what the Teins are like - I'm interested in ride comfort vs standard especially. Are you getting new shocks at the same time?

And...... I notice your signature has changed.... /Hmmm :scholar:

Barry, there is something seriously wrong with you, the front and rear of the facelifts look a heap better! /row started

I'm going to be selling my standard front bumper soon, and I bet someone with a prefacelift car will buy it.

Yeah, it'll be the same person that bids $29 for something that has a buy now price of $10!!!!!

haha, my style of trademe selling is to put a fairly high reserve on it, but to start the auction at a very low price, that way you either sell it for a good price, or you get a good indication of how much you will get for it, you can also offer it to the bidders at whatever price you want.

You're right... I'm thinking of putting a facelift front bumper on mine.

Then again, i'm still thinking of trading up to a newer VR-4.

But i can't part with my girl - I love her too much

Thanks all.
The facelift bumper fits straight on - but I replaced the bonnet and the grill to to complete it (cheers to Mo!)
Did the Carbon dash and wheel at the same time.
TBH, I'm not to keen on the arch extensions, but definitely prefer the more agressive front end - I think the hood makes a huge difference overall.

The building is the MCI building in Reading.

Polish wise, it's still to cold for a proper wax ( I use Zymol Concours) so have to make do with Zymol Cleaner/Wax - it's around £8 from Halfords (light blue in colour) and probably the best 'all-in-one' on the market. Normal Summer routine of clay bar, HD-Cleanse and Zymol Concours will start once the car's re-sprayed. Although I don't think the result will be as good as the Golf:

Watch out Kieren :D Sigs changed just for the time being until I work out how to put a full spec in the allocated space :) Got most of it in the Gallery though.

The springs came form www.camksill.co.uk

ghanda, if you don't want the wheel arch extensions, get in touch with Kenneth, he is after some for his facelift car - just the ones on the bumper, which are the only ones you have!
