Hi All'

I am going to do new project of swaping 6A13 TT on the FWD F5M42 Transm.

I bought a VR4 2000 model it's cut in half because I can't import it to LHD country.

Our Galant is 2.0 4G63 SOHC engine. So I will remove the 4g63 from my 2003 galant & fix the 6A13.


the VR4 is 5 speed auto. transm. with 4WD. I can't use it because the FWD Galant different. It can't contain the 4WD.

Any Haw. This is the only place that I can share the experiance with. So Please give your seggestions & I will try to keep updating the progress in here. :thumbsup:

The VR4 uses the W5A51 gearbox. V6 galants are known for killing the F4A42 gearboxes at around 100k miles so I'd be wary of using the 42 box with the VR4 engine. Can you find an F5M51?

No body here have F5M51!! May be in the new Eclips?

I may use new disk on the transm. or sport one if required.

Your FTO looks very good project. You shuld be my information resources to build my 6A13 TT :chugchug:
