Caliper rebuild?

Have a seized V6 front caliper. Has anyone done a successful rebuild? Or is the bore generally rusted too badly?

Sticky brakes are well known. There's a couple of articles in the member's section about how to service them. Mine were in a pretty dreadful state, but much better now.

I successfully freed a caliper on my first V6 using WD40 and some judicial wiggling. It never caused me any further problem. Never tried a full re-build.
