I'm interested in the ECU upgrade! How does it actually work? Do I just fit it to my car and it automatically works out the best fuel mapping or do I program it first? If so how?

The chips are pre-programmed for each specific car so they are just fitted and then the user is under way. Upgrades feature new fuel and ignition maps, removed speed cut, increase rev limit etc.
However unfortunately we do not have an upgrade for this car on this occasion.
