I think i may have upset my car!

My ABS light is on and refuses to go off, unless i remove the ABS relay!

I've checked all the obvious things like fuses, loose connections etc, the only thing left to do is to earth out pin 1 on the MUT II connector.
Before i do this, this is the connector below the steering column to the drivers left hand side?
If i have any error codes relating to the ABS system, then the ABS lamp should flash? Yes?
Are ABS components particularly sensitive to severe vibration? I ask cos i floored mine in first yesterday and the road was a bit rough and it made quite a violent launch! Im worried i might have bugg@red up an ABS sensor, or worse...... :embarasse

Test drive completed, no issues and most importantly no NO ABS light on.

Found a nice grassy field to test ABS and happy to report its working ok.

So all is well! Thank fcuk for that, ABS parts make my wallet cry!

Panic over, going to find my life again now. Oh bugger, work tomorrow!

Cheers peeps!

just make sure you can still stop in time, the light going off might just mean that your brakes have stopped working completely ;)

It could have been a bit of muck on one of the ABS sensors - Could have stopped it 'seeing' the wheel correctly.
