Who's is this then?

Looks Lovely (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-MITSUBISHI-LEGNUM-VR4-TWIN-TURBO-4-WHEEL-DRIVE_W0QQitemZ4611580019QQcategoryZ18230QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem) and the owner obviously knows about CVR4

Side Airbags!! - they're a bit rare aren't they. I've only seen one other with these. AYC is bust though!

Good luck with the sale if it's any of our members :2thumbsup

It’s mine. Cheers for flagging it up. I was a bit reluctant to list it on CVR4 due to only having posted a few times even though I’m a fully paid up member. In the past some of the forums I used to visit got a bit funny with non regular users posting in the for sale section.

Gutted about having to sell, but like I mentioned on eBay, my mileage is likely to go from my current 6,000 a year to between 30,000 – 50,000 per year due to a new job so its being replaced by a diesel of some sort.

Overall it’s a very good car that has never missed a beat and if it wasn’t for the AYC being faulty I’d be looking for quite a bit more for it. I think the £3K mark is reasonable and gives the new owner a few quid to sort the AYC if they want, although it’s been running fine without it.

If anyone would like some further details just call me on 07917 661536 or I can post some details on here.

Cheers
Paul

There is a good chance the AYC can be fixed for £120.

The pressure switch is the weak link, but Mitsy don't want to sell you one of those, you have to buy the whole pump. Check out the articles section.

Thanks for that Nick but unfortunately I've already tried the pressure switch which I got from Roger Rally on the MLR. Like you say, my local Mitsy dealer tried to sell me a complete new system for the grand sum of £3900.
