Made the decision that the people at "Powerflow" weren't really up to the job so I went to see a local engineer who specialises in bespoke exhausts..... My god what a workshop!!! He had a couple of big american sports cars and a host of jap sports cars.

He took one look at the underside of the Leggy and said it wasn't possible as the fuel pump is in the way :sad3:

He said it might be possible if he hung them lower but I don't really want this solution. I would quite like to keep them high up and out of the way.

ANY IDEAS ?

Or is the solution to either....

1. Just get a single sided one.

2. Hang them lower and get a different rear valance to cover them?
(If so where from?)

3. Move the fuel pump?

mine is very low, but because it it right in the middle of the rear axle I haven't had any problems driving over bumps or anything. I have never hit it on anything at all.

A few Uk members (3 that I know of) have twin exit exhausts. All done by Exhausts UK.

If it's a real problem just do the single.

my recommendation would be to go single for both performance AND looks.

I know of Physician, BDA, SGHOM, and someone with a silver legnum and a blue vr-4 badge, possibly WODJNO.

I think you will get slightly better performance out of a single, look at the split on mine, there will be a bit of restriction in the system, I'm not too worried though, I still gained 5kw ATW at max power and about 11kw at 6000rpm with an otherwise stock car, I guess that if my car was fully modified then I put the exhaust on I would see much more.
