Hello There,
Im looking to change the bulbs in the Instrument Cluster and Heater Controls to Blue LED's.
Does anybody know what size bulbs are used, so I can get the equivilant Bulb as an LED?
Are they 501 size? Any pics of the Bulbs would be great!!
Obviously I could take the Instrument Cluster and Centre Panel out and have a look, but its a bit of a job and Id like to do it once only if Possible!!
Cheers
Matt

My GLS used to do that.... Every now and again, when you parked it up it seemed to 'sit up' on it's springs. Mind you, I think the standard wheels (with the big fat tyre wall) do go some way to masking the gap.
Doesn't stop it looking like a beaut though!:2thumbsup

Well I did it!! The Bulbs for the Instrument Cluster are 4 501 Style Bulbs (Same size as the Side Repeater Bulbs) and 1 286 Bulb which is a small Bulb.
The two bulbs for the heater Illumination are also 286 Size.
Here are some Pics!!

Now that looks nice!:afro: I reckon red would also look good too. Bit of a shame you can't see the needles as clearly though.
The problem I have is that the night illumination in my air-con and recirc buttons has died (still works in the demist button though). Mitsu say a new switch is required at £36 each, which I don't fancy paying...
Edit - that's a low mileage for the year! Mine's just gone over 102700, and it's a late "R".
