Any chance you will be able to post pictures up? Blue is the best colour these cars come in.

@ 't big Hotel - we nabbed 3 nights DB&B for a great deal.

Saunton's (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=saunton&ll=51.144894,-4.01413&spn=0.194276,0.686646)got an amazing beach - we stayed in one of the chalets there last summer, and my 7 year old only tried drowning himself the once, so we're going back to give him another go

Proabably a bit too cold to join in with the local wildlife! (http://www.n-2.org.uk/nuff/pages/beaches/saunton.htm)

As for the car, I think it's a cracker - not sure about the mats though.
46k miles, feels really tight, and I managed to snag a 3 year all inclusive warranty

+ there's a Mitsu satnav system, which I *might* be able to persuade to find its way around the UK. Worst case I guess is that I buy a euro satnave unit to fit the lcd screen.

Welcome to CVR4 and congratulations on what looks to be a lovely car.

Result on the warranty.
Mitsu satnav is likely to be MMCS - loads of discussion on this forum about it.

I'm not - they're appearing from somewhere between ffox & the forum software

& life's too short to try to fix that one today ;-)

re ffox - who knows - it may be something in the setup....

re vr4
thanks - by coincidence, the last 3 cars I've bought have been blue metallic with a pale leather interior. They've all been used buys, and I've bought the mechanical condition first and the colours second.
Maybe folk with blue cars look after them better ?!

the fascia's black - and I'm v pleased at the whole quality feel of the interior... the leather's had 2 feeds already; really just needs a warm night to allow a feed to soak in overnight.

oh & the front splitter thingy fell off today - fortunately I found it.

Oooh - that's one of New Era's Legnums.... I spotted it a bit back. That's a good thing - it's bound to be Mintier than a Mint thing's Minty bits! /yes

The Mitsu Satnav thing isn't an MMCS. That was a factory option. Mitsubishi Electric do aftermarket setups as well. I doubt you'll get it working in the UK - I imagine it'll be a CU-V series navi unit?

Indeed it is through Newera - & very very minty

& the satnav/screen thingy is a CU 600 - I don't expect to get it working, but maybe the screen's useable (unless it's NTSC if that's what they use in Japan, & their lcds are incompatible). I have many anoraks, but Japanese screen specs & compatabilities ain't one of them.

The 10disc cd player's not waking up either, so I may be in for a new head unit - which would play mp3/cdr discs, so no bad thing anyway

Saunton Sands is a great hotel......friends of ours got married there a few years back, and it's one of those days you will never forget. Not just because it was their wedding, but in between the main reception and the evening do all the blokes sodded off to watch
