Just had a look at my intake filter and it does look a bit tired:sick:
Now before I go straight for an induction kit(future mod) does anyone know of the best performance panel filter to fit, as there is quite a selection to chose from/help

k&n all the way, unless you are going to relocate the battery when you do your induction and make it a cold air system. Remember that there is a heck of a lot of hot air under our bonnets just waiting to get sucked up into a pod filter or the like.

Feck, there's this great feature on the forums, which, unfortunately is carefully hidden in full view! Only a select few are let in on the secret... and it'll give you the answer in .90s /JawDroppi!!!

Now you too can be party to the SECRET...

K&N Panel filter part No. 33-2794. This is what's on mine. Not sure if it makes a difference that mine is a 97'. Shouldn't think so.

Deion.

I just got a standard panel from Camskill, K&N filters appear to pose other problems with oil contamination. Potentially.

You can also get a BMC panel filter...

Nev/Bern - it depends on what you search for. "panel filter part" will get you results quite quickly, but different key words may not.

Nev - some people have recently voiced opinions on correct filtering - so a search on filters may mean you decide to change your mind anyway.

If you are worried about oil contamination, get a railliart foam panel. The ralliart panel is a dry foam filter

I also have a ralliart panel filter, I wouldn't say it was foam though, more a kind of red mesh/matting type of thing.

I will try to find the P/N
