Looks very smart Pete, I take it you went for the black caliper paint then?

Since I still haven't had chance to do mine I had a thought.. how did you do the part of the 'disc' that the caliper was hiding? did you put the wheel back on and then roll her back and then take wheel off again and then paint? :Ponder:

 YES! INSERT INTO post VALUES (Gets out "Cunning, but also cheap plans for GLS" book and starts making notes)

Think I'll need a day or two off before Santa Pod:D

Mark - not painted the calipers mate, just the discs. The calipers looks a nasty job so I thought I would see the results of others at Pod before attempting it.

With regards to the disc part hidden by the calipers, well you probably arn't supposed to do this but had both wheels jacked up at the same time INSERT INTO post VALUES (front then back) and was able to turn the hub by hand to do those bits :D

It's all in the detail.

And I thought I liked my car. There is lot more I need to do to show it though.

Well done

I did a friends VR-4's rotors and calipers, just cleaned them with a water based degreaser. Roughing them up a bit with a wire brush then washing off the dust before I painted them. Painted the calipers Satin black, makes the car look a lot cleaner.
