Something that I noticed about NZ new VR-4s

I was going through KiwiTT's brochures that were posted up and I noticed that the manual nz new ones came with:

momo 3 spoke
recaro seats
205/55/16 wheels
no wheel arches
single din stereo
no ayc

while the auto ones came with:

nardi 4 spoke
leather seats
225/50/16
wheel arches
double din stereo
ayc


I wonder why mitsi did that. Another thing that I noticed was that the brochure was made with facelift cars pictured, yet the wagons were prefacelifts, which is similar to what happened in the UK. They only had wagons with an I4 2.0 and 6A13, no VR-4 model :(

The Type Y is the manual and was always considered the lower spec model. The Type S has the higher spec. Some type S have been converted to manual in Japan. Confusing the picture.

Don't know, maybe the wagons were runout stocks.

Personally I really dislike the leather, I would ideally have the auto with the recaro's instead. It seems strange to me how they did it

My Momo wheel is slightly different than all the other ones out there.....the grip is all one peice....none of that ugly fat insert crap! :P

Yours is a strange one, it is plastic around the rim, whereas all the others I've seen are leather

Mine's leather, but it doesn't have that other unsual bit....like on the SuperVR4's where they're red.

I also had a notebook in my hands today that wasn't in stock, as well as Arthur sold a motherboard we didn't actually have in stock, then harrassed me about it at the end of the day. It was good fun :) So much for the stock take 2 days ago!

We had problems with stock at our work too. lol. Apparently sold a whole lot of stuff that wasn't in stock and things that were sold a few months back popped back onto the stock shelves.
