Gents,

I'm looking for a torque curve diagram for the 1999 onwards VR4...i'm more concerned as to whe nthe torque begins to drop off. I know that the optimium shift point is at 5500RPMs....but i would like to see how the torque drops off after this

...im programming my Emanage to "compensate" for that drop off..

advice?

Here are some dynos, the one at 150kw is from a prefacelift manual car, the one with 2 graphs on it are mine pre and post exhausts (go to my gallery for pics of it) and the last one is a facelift manual with a complete ECU replacement.

I have no idea about using another torque converter, someone more technical maybe able to help there.

The torque converter has 6A13 written on it. I have no idea if the 6A12 torque converter is the same - what is the reasoning behind that anyway?

^^ i know that lower CC engines have a high stall speed....for instance, when i had an automatic Nissan Sentra SER (1800) we swapped the torque converter (whch was 2400RPM) and modded it to get a stall of 2800. That gave us a massive launch on the 1800....suprised many a bloke off teh line..

i want to do te same with the automatic for the VR4...if i can find a converter from a lower CC application that has a stall of say 2500RPM, i can mod that (get about 400 RPM more) and get a stall of 2900/3000 RPM which is optinum for the torque cruve (from what i see above)...
