just read post over on MLR - theres a rumour that BP are releaseing 100 Ron on the 7th..

Sounds good if it's true!!!

Don't forget to reset your ECU after filling your car up with it! that at least goes for me anyway as mine is a fussy little bastid! cops a paddy if you give her anything under 97ron.. she reduces your fun considerably dropping power by about 60bhp. :mad:

/wallet groans in pain with anticipated cost :D

Let's hope it is a comparitive price to Optimax too

How much do you guys pay for Optimax now?
It is 77p a litre where I am. :Ponder:

83p at the local filling station here in Notts.

Paid 0.799p/litre on Monday, 0.789p on Wednesday and 0.819p today - different petrol stations, but all within a 30 mile radius.

Can't get Optimax in Aylesbury :INSERT INTO post VALUES (
I fill up with Optimax in Fleetwood when up to see girlfriend and was .079 so it will be about 0.82 now
I dont really look at prices now just fill the beastie with Super Unleaded :D

The GLS seems to have taken a liking to Optimax, even though the owner's manual insists that 95RON petrol is OK. It seems less breathless at the top end with 98RON optimax..

Feck knows what it'd be like with 100RON:devil2: :devil2:

Shaz asked about this at local BP today. Was a woman behind the desk and she looked shocked when Shaz mentioned it ! :D :D :D

She said it was supposed to be a secret and she had heard about it a couple of weeks ago that was going to happen INSERT INTO post VALUES (via a memo) but only that it's in the pipeline INSERT INTO post VALUES (so to speak hahahaha) and no date of release yet.

Well it won't be here for Pod but at least it's seems to be true !

Probably, my local BP is being done up at the moment, still in use but it needs a bit of work.
Perhaps they are just getting it ready for the new fuel.
