Just installed Hids. :d

Thought it would take 2 hours, but ended up spending 9hours!
Well worth it!

Hi Glenn! I got them from impulse for 150 pounds. Was tempted by the ones on ebay

The drive with them at night is fantastic! Its a real head turner mod too!

yeh HIDs rock, best $50nz i ever spent, and only took me a couple of hours to get in.

Scc Which one did you go for? Do you remember the make? There are 2 different ones there I think... Took 9 hours? How come?

Went for Xelux 6000K, which I'm very pleased with. I love the initial flash of the lights when they are ignited and then they gradually build up in intensity....looks the business!

It took 9hours because I had to modify the shape of the bulb holders to allow the bulb-clips to clip in. Also there isn't much room to fit the ballasts and I had to build harnesses and brackets for them.
