Heat shielding the AYC pump?

Finally going to get my twin exhaust made for the leggie and the non standard side rear muffler is going to be quite close to the AYC pump. Any thoughts on wether heat shielding is nescessary?

Ive got a twin zorst i have no heat shield and had no prob so far (about 6 months)

Thanks for the reply. How close does the muffler come to the AYC reservoir?

I made a similar post about it around a year ago, quite a few members have dual exhausts for a while now and it has never caused any problems with the AYC unit.

Thanks bradc, will just go ahead with the twin system and suck it and see.
