OK all you wizz kids. Can someone tell me exactly what this 'arm' is called? Any idea how much they are? My car sounds like a creaking timber house going over even the slightest little bump, or indeed turning the steering wheel on a tight lock.

Thanks.

It's the lateral lower arm. It's the arm that's subject to recall due to balljoint wear.

This thread should give you the idea Richard - Bernmc has just had the exact problem.

Here it is! (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12296)

Mitsi charge around £140 quid Pete. A couple of members can get the genuine item for you at a discount, but paul's eurowotsits are still cheaper.

Paul, you didn't say where you got the stuff from eventually, and whether your prices included delivery.

I wonder if the VR4 bits are different from the slow galants  ?
