hi guys - i am after a set of the carbon fibre centre console parts, mine are woodgrain at the moment and i was wondering if anyone wanted some woodgrain bits and if anyone had a set of carbon fibre bits - cheers:evilgrin:

kempy's sells them if you can't find anyone on here. I hate the wood too, there is no way I would trade my carbon fibre! :)

bout $120 last i heard, no one on here will sell theres, ive tried, i just painted mine silver in the end

someone posted the amount recently, do a search for kempys and console and you might be able to find it.

I got me Marmel's woodgrain set to sand back and play with, so I didn't ruin my original one.

Just a suggestion, I think that you should paint it dark metallic grey. I don't really like the later model (2001/2002) silver dash, I think it needs to be a little darker.

I had a look at Kenneth's and UC's yesterday, and I quite liked that colour grey

thats what I was referring to, I think that colour is ok, but it needs to be a little bit darker :)

i agree

what paint did u use gly? do you have any problems with it scratching easy?

wanna do mine dull black color...sick of wanky walnut

just paint in a can, yeh scratches easy,

but now that im almost finish reapiring my bumper for the final time,

i may get them to paint my console the same colour as my car,

dark green/black?
what do you all think?? yeh?? nah??

You need to spray them with an etch primer first so paint will adhere better. Etch primer locks into the subsurface, provides a base coat. Think you can get it in a can at Repco/AutoCheap etc
