Hey nice facelifter. That's a type-V right? Does it have AYC? Do you notice your AYC light coming on more when you apply brakes?

Robotnik, do you mean after having the brembo's fitted or just generally? I've never noticed the AYC lights coming up when braking

I was thinking about scenarios where you apply brakes while going round corners, such as going downhill on a long twisty road.

On 2nd thoughts, I guess there couldn't be much effect on the AYC system could there, nevermind...

I've never seen my AYC come up under braking, unless I've been sliding on gravel. I beleive it does something with the ABS if you have the wheels actually locked up, but I'm not 100% sure

actually, i had no cleariance...i had to use a 1/8 spacer to get the clearance...the Rears wont b a problem though!

on te AYC bit... the light does not come on.....

I get the AYC light on really hard braking when the back end starts lightening up and squirming around a bit...hee..hee!!!

I actually prefer the third photo, since you can see the caliper reflected in the bodywork, and pretty much everything aside from the wheel itself is out of focus. Very arty-farty, and I mean that in a good way ~ it looks terrific.

Having said that... if you could take another photo from the same position, but zoom in slightly more and get the wheel (and spokes) positioned so you can see more of the caliper with the word "brembo" clearly readable... A wider aperture and faster shutter speed should do the trick.
:smug:

Very nice Brakes !!

The brakes in our German Cars arent so good .After some Brakings you have very heavy Fading !

We have the Disadvantage that we have Pitch Diameter 4x 114,3 !! There is no way to get an better Brake .

MR202, EVO's 1,2,3 had 4x114.3 stud's as well, if you can find an upgrade for those models evo's you might be able to fit them to your car. A member in NZ has EVO 2 brakes on his V6 non-turbo
