Hi!
I've read that facelift VR4's can easily convert to the EVO Brembo brakes, is it also true for a post facelift Type V? Started to wonder since they have the pre facelift rims.. Could it be possible that the Type V has different hub carriers than the the Type S post facelift?

The rims fit on both the post and pre facelift cars, so I wouldn't use the wheels as an indication of the type of hub. AFAIK the post facelift VR4, both type V and S use the same hubs, so there shouldn't be an issue with a Brembo upgrade.

I am sure that Kieran will be along soon to put me right if I have got it wrong :D

There are no problems at all with Type V or S facelift cars, they use the correct hub carriers for brembo's

ahh yeah, col bought up a good point, the stock mags won't fit on top of the brembo's. EVO mag's are of course the best ones to fit on top of the brakes :)

You See in NZ has brembo's on his 2001 Type V btw, and his work great.
