Got to the pod after you had left, but heard about your bad luck.

I would say look at the repair first. If you know the job is going to be done well, it would be better than putting a second hand lump in - which you don't know where it's been or how it's been treated.

Alternatively, talk to bigdaveakers about a large american V8 with NOS! :D

I would go for the repair to be honest
Getting a VR4 engine in good condition is going to be a pain in the ar$e

I thought it was just the cam belt that needed resetting properly Zed. Shouldnt be 2 much trouble for a dealer ?
