US/UK model

Ive been on some US parts websites and have found alot of parts are for the "Mitsubishi Mirage 4 Dr 99-00 "
The question is is this the US galant or equivalent and will body parts for the mirage fit the galant?
Ive seen some interesting styling bits and bobs and am looking into getting stuff from there.

Don't think so, the US version was also called a Galant, but was manufactured at their plant in Normal, Illinois (the old DSM operation). In fact, they're still making a Galant there (9th generation).

A Mirage 4-dr would be the Lancer, I believe.

The US 8G Galant went from 1999-2003, have a look for those parts.

I think that there is a good deal of suspicion that the Mirage shares mechanical parts with the 8th gen Galant. But I would imagine that body parts will not fit. I don't know any of that for sure! But I do know that 8th gen Galant body parts are slightly different between US and UK/JDM versions. The headlights are slightly different, so grille, bumper, bonnet are all slightly different too.

The saloon was sold elsewhere as the lancer.

I have seen lots of stuff, but unfortunately not for the galant (US or UK model), but I'm not giving up just yet /Hmmm/Hmmm
