Momo Steering Wheel Wiring

Hi Lads

Looking for swift assistance!

Got me a momo steering wheel from an evo... all good so far.

Ive removed the nardi wheel and airbag.... bit the connector for the airbag has different wiring on it.

The evo airbag has:

Yellow
Yellow & White

The VR4 has:

Brown
Blue


Now, anyone know which goes to which? Mo?

The momo airbag seems to have the same connector as the vr4 imbedded into the airbag... ive tried removing it,, but it wont budge.... so id need to splice the wires...

Will the bag go off if its thr wrong way around? Or will it just come up with an error? ie the srs light?

Well... i wired the airbag and everything is fine.... i know which wire goes where yaaay...

BUT!


The momo wheel doesnt fit! Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!

The bolt doesnt come through far enough to fit the nut on! GODDDAAAMN!

And, the bolt is a touch too thin! GOODDDDDDDAAAAMN!

which evo did you get it off?

I have an Evo 6 Momo on my Legnum, as far as I know it wa no problem to fit.

Is it the same as mine ?

SHould have checked 1st...

It looks the same, but it was an Evo 8 Wheel... very slight difference. As new aswell!

Ive been told it can fit with a little work tho'

I shall keep people up to date.
