Uhh oh, are you Kieran's brother?

Nice looking car btw, mine is the same colour as yours and is a facelift too. I can see a silver Legnum in one of those pictures, is that a VR-4 too?

Cool Leggie. Do you have AYC? I think some Type-V's have AYC and some don't?

Kalle

No AYC
The silver legnum is a standard V6, I hitched a ride to the docks.. :)

ONE word of advice kalle :scholar:

You need to swop your front seats with mine, they are the same colour- just hasn,t got that extra support and the flashy name /Devil5

nice looking rotors, are you going to use the stock calipers, or do you have evo brembo's in mind?

Cool Leggie. Do you have AYC? I think some Type-V's have AYC and some don't?

Do any type-Vs have AYC? This argument has been had several times, but no conclusion has been reached.

Back to the thread: Nice ride

Kalle

Those are the stock rotors from a EVO6 which I have modified a little :D
The Brembo Calipers are waiting at home..
Just have to get my new wheels back from my friend who is mounting and balancing the tires

Actually I'm pretty happy with not having the AYC, after reading here about all the problems it causes.. :(

Not sure what you mean by a little small; pipes are -3 with steel plated ends swaged on so not reuseable. They are mighty fine so long as they don't go tight at any point in the suspension / steering movement. :2thumbsup

Kalle

not reusuable? :( Do you mean I have to buy new braklines when I change my calipers to the Brembos? or is it just the ends that have to be replaced?

Does anyone have pictures of the brembo calipers from the same angle as on this:

Sorry I'm used to taking ends off and the swaged ends cannot be taken off and reused. Of course if the thread is correct they can be used as a complete item on something else.

A few things are happening to my Leggie.

Just received the brakelines for the Brembos! Part number: KMIT0010BREMBO if anyone is interested in getting a pair from exact engineering. They should do the trick for the Brembo calipers front and rear
About to do a little experimenting with the meters too..

JesterJack - message to you

search and ye shall find the answers to the mistery's of VR4 info .

Pre and Post faclift are still both VR4's just there production is at different times

Pre was up 97 and Post is after 97 - if you search the forum you will find a lit of differences

There has alos been lots and lots of discussion about the VR4 you have pictured and is advertised on Ebay , most people on here would not touch it with a barge pole unless it was being broken for parts

Cheers John

PS this is done in Jest
