Has anyone driven both the sedan and the wagon?

I notice on paper the specs are very similar, the only notable difference ethat the wagon is 50Kgs heavier. However in reality, is there much of a difference in handling and performance?

i didnt notice much difference when driving my mates legnum when he had it, tho around goin down the kaimais the body swayed like a b!tch compared to my galant imo...

there isn't much differance at all.

i think the wellsford run proved that. and most aftermarket stereos would weigh 50kg by themselves.

Its hard to say really.. ive driven both, at speed... however both cars had different wheels, and suspension.. so its hard to say either way really. The only big difference is the boot, its hard to get used to all that space if you have a Galant :) - like driving around with a void behind you..

No real difference...

Ive owned both... as above different wheels and different shocks... plus the manual legnum probably weighs the same as the tip galant.

Have driven HJM's Numleg and it has lowered suspension like mine. Must admit, although a brief spin, the ride was very impressive and the car felt tight and handled totally predictably.

Wouldn't mind the chance to thrown one into some corners at speed though to see how the ass reacts compared to the saloon, mind you I wouldn't expect too much difference.

1850? Did you get it measured on a weigh bridge with 5 people in it? ;)

I read some documents that I got with it..
"New keeper Supplement" V5C/2
Revenue weight: 1845 kg gross

mix up of kerb and gross weight?

Kalle,

Our certificates from Mitsu will state 1855kg "total weight", wich means how heavy the car can be fully loaded. That gives room for 2 people only and your nice 5-people Estate will be registered for 2 persons only.

Same with both my Leggie and Galant and also with the other 2 VR4rs registered in Sweden :(

It does suck, ive fought this one with MM Sweden but there is nothing they can do either:(

Yeah, I have an auto Legnum Type-S VR-4 facelift and last weekend I went to the tip. They have a weigh bridge there and charge you by the kilo for the stuff you dump. The weight readout after dumping my garbage was 1810KG. This is with half a tank of gas, myself at 90KG and my girlfriend at 65KG and an otherwise empty car. He's probably weighing it with passengers.

So thats about 1630kg with no petrol or passengers, not too bad.

I'll have to go to a weigh bridge as well and see what they say it is.
