Hi all,
Yep, tis that time of the month again....who's keen?
I'm under strict guidelines that I am not to touch nor think about doing any mods to my car prior to this day! /pan
If anyone's keen on going we can meet up at the usual hotspots...otherwise we'll meet there.

no power steering is a mod... be interesting to see what difference it makes to your figures :P
and how about your SAFC? you still got that set at -10%? at least you could see if you are destroying your engine! (or not)

lol car hasn't been driven in 2 weeks prior to yesterday evening :P And won't be going anywhere for the next couple of weeks either lol
Cambelt is long overdue in my books -pulling on 120,000kms and I don't know if it had been replaced earlier or not. Mechs say belt looks fine but I don't want to find out how long it'll last LOL
I'm just wasting my money away on the Lancer RS though :| Someone stop me.

Seems like I've given up on the VR4 for go fast, turning it into a show pony and turning the RS into a drag weapon :D

Make the VR-4 fast, but reliable. Sensible mods, intercooler upgrades, etc.
As to the Lancer RS. Strip it and turn it into a drag weapon, heaps of 4G63 mods available and use the VR-4 as a tow vehicle and daily cruiser.

It's an RS. It's already stripped factory LOL -wind up windows, no a/c, no sound deadening, no trim anywhere in boot etc.
Driving the RS is rough, rugged, raw, jerky and like how a race car should be. Just how I like it, as opposed to the VR4 where it's like driving a big bubble.

Hey wtf I've just had an idea. Why don't I put the RS on the dyno? LOL stupid stupid me.
btw, the Lancer RS is my girlfriends car, which explains the pink intercooler piping and pink tailights /Handbag even though I picked, modded, installed and paid for all the mods /pan

What a "great " girlfriend. She must really love you. You now have 2 cars to play with.
I can't even play with mine, even if I wanted to. Safety and Maintenance is what is only approved

So how many and who's going? Can late comers join in on the day? Myself and a fellow VR4 owner from the windy city maybe in Aucks this Saturday and we really would like to do a meet and greet with some of the club members.
There's been no new posts for awhile on this thread so was wondering if it's still a go.
Last dyno day, I seem to remember you needed ten cars or something to make sure it all went ahead.
Just don't want to get all the way up there to find it off......../Grrr /pan

So this isn't a CVR4 specific event, just a casual day open to all comers?
So who's going to be there from CVR4 then.
Looks like we're coming up alright but 8-30am is probably too early for us to get there and do a run but we'll be there to meet you guys if we can.
Cheers,

Look forward to seeing you there, but won't be able to stay around too long as it's very much a flying visit as we are heading back down the island sometime after noon. Got some bits to pickup and then be on our way.
Oh well another time maybe:speechles
Cheers

Haha, you know for a fact that your figures are going to be better than mine. Mine just cost me a hell of a lot less :P
