Ideas for next meet

Obviously there is the Dyno day on this Saturday, I'll hopefully be there with my car.

After that I think we need to start deciding on what sort of meet we actually want to have. Do we want a BBQ and a good chat in a place like Mission Bay, another workshop day, or a good long drive, maybe back down south again, maybe Thames then Waihi, onto Tauranga? Or maybe up to the top of the Awhitu Peninsula? We could go clubbing as well, quite a lot of us are youngish and do that sort of thing in the weekend anyway :)

Think another workshop day would be good, it gave us a good chance to catch up as well as give our cars it's well deserved upgrades.
Clubbing probably isn't that great of an idea, although another member and I discussed a boys night out...wink wink nudge nudge

Problem with a workshop day at the moment is that I don't think we have the room at anyones place, unless we are going to do turbo pipes and stuff at detonates friends workshop.

Clubbing could be fun, we just won't bring our cars.

I could hike down there on the bike, on my regular 30km ride, can they handle 'one wheel' drive, human powered.
It is an Avanti Monza, sounds fast anyway.
Actually might pop by, I'll do the Nothwestern motorway loop, come back up on Rosebank Rd, drop in.

I quite liked the cruise down to Hamilton and Tauranga, we could change it to Hamilton and Rotorua? I would be happy with that. I think a workshop day will be too difficult at the moment as I don't beleive anyone has access to a large area at the moment that we can use.
