go with an exedy heavy diaphram.

I just put one in but it was sourced by a friends trusted mechanic so i cant tell you much about it.
Only that i believe ones that fit late evos fit our cars too. We actually used a page out of an evo8 service manual as our guide to doing it.

Stronger than standard but feels basically standard. It had a bit more meat to it than the standard one, that is it had a slightly bigger friction face. Also the heavier diaphram..

Would recommend you speak to Terry at Helix Autosport Ltd 01295 701076, I went for their uprated road clutch kit capable of handling extra power, improved durability and retaining good drivability. Direct fit for EC5A/W.
60-4468 Cover Assembly, 70-4470 Organic Drive Plate and 40-4462 Release Bearing. Should be available from stock.

Well the helix one looks like a better deal - approx £50 more than the standard stuff inc vat .

Now anyone know of a lightened flywheel that fits :)

.

Also I looked on the Helix website and the EVO8/9 clutch has the same spline and size

Cheers John

PS See how good WRD are - they were asked for the price at lunchtime and had it back very quiclkly
