Haven't found a thread for this as yet INSERT INTO post VALUES (maybe mistaken).

Currently the beast fills up on £40 of optimax avging at 82p a litre.

I get around 180miles out of this tank, this includes town and motorway.

Is this about normal?

16 mpg I think if my calculations are correct.

I can get 25mpg, but its much more fun when I get 12!!!! 16-20 is more normal for town motorway.......can get 200 miles fairly easily without trying too hard. Today I have a 240 mile road trip and I think I will do it all on one tank.

Only used 2 tanks so far, but both around £37 and both around 180 miles. :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

Having only just got the car, though, I am not being light with my right foot! :D

As predicted I did 241.7 miles before I stopped for a fill up.......it only took 46 litres, just over 10 gallons. Cool! I was on the M6 most of the time doing 80-90 INSERT INTO post VALUES (120 when I was chasing the Lamborghini Murcialago) Did a little round town driving as well and was fiddling with my boost controller.........managed to squeeze 247HP down on to the tarmac..........cool!

I think I might have got around 100 mpg on the way back from the pod !!:Ponder: could't go above 50 mph for fear of dumping all my ATF on the M1. :Cry1: :Cry1: booked in at mitsy on fri for them to correct what they should have cured 1st time.

Man sounds like you guys are getting more than me. I have noticed in auto mode the turbos kick in more regular. I have 150 miles on odo now and the needle is between the last quarter mark and empty.

thats pretty good Keiran, Either you are a very steady driver, or the drag coefficient, [ due to the amount of polish on the car ] is 0.00002 !!! :D :D :D

lol!

I guess I must be a steady driver - Yes the wax does help the drag coeff INSERT INTO post VALUES (important to us GLS owners!); but there's that much on my paint that it adds about an extra 100Kg in weight:D

Usually get between 18 and 21mpg with Optimax. Best ever was 25mpg on the motorway section of a run back from London. Worst on road was tonight coming back from Nottingham when I got 13mpg between Scotch Corner and Jedburgh INSERT INTO post VALUES (but it was fun :) ). Worst ever was 7mpg  on a track day at Knockhill :D

Don't tell me you turned up in a VR4 - My God what a ride that must have been for the passengers. Grins all round until you gave them the bill. "That'll be £6.40 for the ride and £37 for the petrol". :D
