Just Kidding!!! They Rock!!!
And to think i almost joined an alternative car club!! Thanks to a well known member of yours, that goes by the name of UC, I am now a part of Cult VR4, I mean Club VR4! I own a 99 VR4 Leggy and I love it. The epitime of Cool! hahaha!! yeah something like that? The Mrs reckons Its more important then her, Dam, I hate when shes right.
Well ive done the usual mods - Lowered, 18 inch Vault spinners, performance Tyres, tints, BOV, turbo timer, Performance Muffler and a whole lot of sounds. Next up is an upgrade from Pod Filter to Cold air induction, 3" exhaust, Front mount, Fuel pump and then Finally up the boost! Which brings me to my next question - I wanna move the battery to the boot! I have all the gear and was amost gonna pay over $500.00 for some one to do the Job but I heard there a people in our cool club that can do this and that it aint that hard. Is there any one out there that knows how to and that is willing to give a dude a hand. I would realy appreciate it and it would help me save $500.00 to spend on other Mods. Thanks in advance

Hello mate, welcome to the club. Try this for starters:

http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14088&highlight=battery+boot

Alternatively, use the search feature above and search for battery + boot. Should be some more info available for you there.

Also, get some pics of your car posted. Sounds a beaut. :2thumbsup

Is your's a purple car? I've seen a purple facelift wagon with spinners going around a couple of times, once near the airport.

It'd be great to see some pics.

yup, as gly said with the wielding wire, 0 or 1awg and u'll need the same on the negative side or thicker, never smaller.

you also need a sealed battery, if you dont have one then dont do it yet or just carry a fire extinguisher :P

for anyone wanting to move there battery you will need the following

about 5m-6m of 3ga cable or larger (or welding cable),
a suitable terminal block to connect the old battery + to the new extension cable
positive and negitive battery terminals,
a battery box, and a few bolts,
a 150amp curcuit breaker (optional)

and if you want to move the filter to the front and do a cold box you will need

3" pod filter adapter,
3" pod filter
3" silicon joiner
3" stainless steel elbow
some ducting suitable to feed cold air from your bumper
metal for box and brackets
