Chucked these on last night in a bit of a hurry, took the pix this morning and a neighbour had parked too close, so apologies for the poor angle.

This is the first time i've posted a pic of my car clean :speechles

Thoughts?

Big improvement over the standard wheels, IMO. :2thumbsup

Have you got a photo looking down the length of the car? It looks like the wheels are sticking out beyond the side of the car.

No I don't have a photo i'm afraid. But you're right, they do stick out a smidge. I think it needs lowering now these are on, what d'you reckon?

The wheel moves in as it moves up. Clearance should be okay. I personally wouldn't lower it, or at least not by much. I still stand by my opinion that the standard VR4 suspension setup is near perfect.

Anyway, Richard, shouldn't you be saying that they don't look as good as TSW's? :p

I was mebbe thinking of getting the TEIN's from Camskill. I think therear looks ok, just the front is a little high. Might get the hacksaw out on the front springs

Numerous owners have suggested I lower mine as well Nick. And I must agree that it would look much better ........ I don't like the way it looks at the moment, however, I haven't lowered simply because I agree with you - it works adequately on track and where I use it most - on standard roads, it's superb. I just don't want to mess with the dynamics.

Steve, have you thought of some TSW's?

Took this in my back garden yesterday (16/5/06) ......... errr, Donington Park.

Steve big improvement over standards by a mile *shouts so Kieran can hear* :D

If you could lower by say 15 20mm it would look perfect in my opinion... I am stuck in same situation really, I dont want to lower by more than 20mm mainly on fronts..
which means height adj suspension really, as springs tend to be 30-40mm minimum.

Rich, the car looks supreme mate! any more close ups with those wheels on? How long have you had those on?

Top choice... If the same as Nicks old wheels, hard to tell if they were 16s or 17s as am (I think) the leggie was lowered??

Both cars look spot on, nice choices chaps :2thumbsup

With regards to lowering them, well I'm glad I have but each to their own opinion on this subject. Just prefer the looks and handling once lowered

ITs strange, the lines of the galant make it look wedge shape, yet the gap in front wheels seems way bigger than the gap at the back.. Would lowereing just the front upset handling of the car I wonder?

Rich you will have fun cleaning all, what... 80 spokes? I struggle with 40 :-)

They look great, I think it does need to be lowered a little bit though, maybe 20-30mm lower at the front.

They will give you lots of clearance for the brembo's :)

The majority of springs lower 30-40mm.. Maybe if you do a search for ghanda's thread? he fitted those from camskill...and it does look good! /yes
