This is proberly nothing but, my engine taps on the first start of the day until it gets warm (Roughly 2-4mins) should I be worried?

It's probably just the teppets. It is a common issue on the VR4's.
You may find that a engine oil change will resolve the issue.

most common thing in the world with these engines. As long as you change your oil regularly it won't get too bad

Along with oil changes at regular intervals, additives is also recommended...something like Proma usually keeps the tapping at bay for approx. 5000ks.

As your in the UK you can easily get your hands on Amsoil, with which you won't need any additives. Alot of us use it and it has proven to be a very good oil.

My car also had the sound when i bought it. I just ran some diesel trough the system and changed filter and oil. Then it was gone and have been since. :)

I did it as an engine flush, that´s right. :)
very effective, strongly recommended!
Ive been raliably imformed by my machanic mate that this stuff is the dogs rounders for sorting out any tappet noise and said it also made hell of a difference in performance, he,s used it in a lot of his clients cars and has never been disapointed yet. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/AMETECH-ENGINE-RESTORE-OIL

EngineRestore - Posting in an old thead with a link to several sites showing the virtues of engine restore, plus two final links to your web shop is effectively advertising - and as such the post has been deleted.
However, we have already discussed Engine Restore on here before - the link to that thread is below, should you wish to comment.:scholar:
