So on Thursday very very early in the morning the car and I (not to mention the family) will be on the way to England.

I repeat the ad in a new thread here, the other was getting messy...

Pictures are from March, so quite recent and if anything the wheels are cleaner now.

Anyway, to get to the point, if anyone is interested please let me know so we can try to arrange a viewing etc. Would really like to let the car go to an enthusiast on here...

UK Supplied Ralliart Galant VR-4 Estate Type-S (Legnum)
Tip-Tronic Auto
First Registered 11/99
Tax and MOT until 11/06

I am in the process of leaving the UK for Germany, and I need to change as I have something LHD and much less fun now.

Was serviced less than 500 miles ago.

No interest then....?

So how does £5500 sound?

I would prefer to sell on here, failing any interest it'll be the trader and every test pilot from London to Reading /Grrr

Tried to convince the wife but she's set on a 350Z. It's only 20 grand more after all :|

Thanks Bern...

Somebody, please.... I am trying to combine a family holiday with selling my car, and I want to avoid the stress of the great unwashed masses...

Hmmm, maybe I need to hone my sales skills a little.

Small update,

I am back in Germany, the Vr-4 isn't :bigcry:

So, the car is left with the folks who will be more than happy to provide tea for anyone who wants to take a look...

Still keeping away from the unwashed masses on the Trader and 'bay.

Anyway, I have unearthed some bits and pieces to go with,

One 6" Stainless backbox... never put it on, not in the greatest nick but it's there.

One extra rear light, (the big yoke for the tailgate) - bought just in case, used but in good nick

One extra set of standard face-lift rims, formerly home to my winter tyres

A pair of part worn eagle F1s (following a cock up on the tracking by my garage, which caused the car to chew through the fronts in ~4K - it was fun though /Steeringw ) - these are the good ones from the back :-) when I bought another set...

Some LHD lights (never know....) and clear corners (like new)

All this, and a cup of tea from my mum for £5,500!

Found an unused BDA Decat pipe on the shelf in the cellar...

Will be with the car also,

So, onto the trader tonight... let the Test pilots come /help

Actually, due to the relatively low profile of these cars, I hope that wont be a problem.

Wish me luck.....

adam_shaw

Gonna put it in at £6K ono to start off with,

However, anyone seeing the advert here can get that price.

Let's hope it's straight forward and the car goes to a good home.

This car doesn't want to be sold....

I'm having so much trouble getting my listing on Auto Trader...

1st time, (Wednesday) spent nearly 45 minutes getting the text just so, then the bl**dy thing told me, right at the end mind, "We are having problems with our web service, try again another time"

The thursday evening, tried again - all going swimmingly "We were unable to process the transaction..."

I wonder would it have been easier if I wasn't going for the cheapest, web-only package? /suspicious

Oh, and a bump.... it is a really lovely car - and I am missing it like mad!

Finally on Autotrader....

LINK (http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=MITSUBISHI&model=RALLIART&variant=VR4&keywords=&min_pr=5000&max_pr=6000&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=sl7+3ay&miles=10&max_records=50&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH)

/off topic

Tip for anyone trying to use the AutoTrader site outside the UK, their payment system checks the IP - if it's not UK then the transaction gets killed.

So, just use BT Bill Pay... and away we go.

Be good,

A nice variation of the 'I send you 20K you return the change, and then get scr**ed when your bank find the check to be vulcanised' scam,

This is getting to be quite entertaining...
