A very social event. Also cheap as chips. Club stand space is £1.50 per car!! Some trade stands, and plenty of modified and blinged metal polished to near Kieran standards!!

So register interest here - we will be putting stand space in the club shop in the near future.

If you would all kindly stop hijacking the thread, then we can get back on topic.

Info received today:

Tickets for JAE is £20.00 per vehicle (so if you have a car with four people you only have to pay once), this includes camping from Friday & Saturday. We have a lot more activities this year...Fireworks, fairground rides, Friday night film show, Disco for kiddies and adults, tug of war, plus the flame out and show & shine, drifting demo and passenger rides...oh yeah and a JAE FM...so much more than last year

No passes AFAIK, but limited space. I have to pay for the site based on the number of cars I want to book it for. I have booked based on last years numbers plus a bit. First to shout a request are first to get a guaranteed spot.

Just been looking at the JAE website and came across this....

Car Clubs are for the parking of cars in the main showground. If you are not a Club member you will need to ask a Club if you can park on their display area - they may ask you to join! http://www.japcarclub.com/jae/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
- Non Japanese cars - except support vehicles for Traders and Clubs (limited use) will NOT be allowed in

..... is K planning to have the VR-4 ready by then - or will he have to get busy with the sign making machine to plaster the golf in Club VR-4 support vehicle stickers?????

That is the latest map for this year. It has been changing constantly over the last few weeks as traders chop and change and different clubs ask for different space.

Barry - that is where you camped last year, with the camping where the stand was last year. So should be better, as last year the camping seperated us from the show.

Ladies and Gentlemen of JAE persuasion. It is with sadness that I tell you I will not be attending this event. If Kieran is agreeable then I will forward the couple of bits of paper that I have to him.
I must attend a funeral on the Isle of Man on friday, so there is no way I will be back to see you all.

Kieran - there are no tickets required as such - you pay on the gate and then park on the pre-booked stand.

Hope that you all have a good time, please take pleny of photos and tell plenty of stories. Barry - can you leave the drunken shenanigans until next year please? I missed them last year - don't want to miss them this year too!

For your information - my literature is sketchy at best, but says "you can set up from friday afternoon and our staff will be on hand if you need anything"

It does state that gates are open from 6am on saturday and sunday mornings.

The only other bit of info that you might need now is that the show and shine entries need to be in by 8am on saturday.

Again, I am sorry that we can't be there. I am also sorry for messing Ian about as he was very generous with his offer to look after the gazebo and bring it to JAE. Cheers, guys. Have a good one!!

yes there was ian, i threw the gauntlet down and you pussied out of it saying you got hurt to much last time. (and you wouldn't go on that big ride)

Coming to Japshow 2007! - The CVR-4 Wrestling Triple-threat no holds barred spanner slam! Will Ian (the commando) be victorious? Or will richy (Aka - Dr. U-Bend) thwart everyone with his expert Copper-pipe slam? Or will it be Hackatron Barry? Will his L337 skillz completely Haxx0r everyone?

Hi all, I have just recently joined the CVR-4. I have spend days and days going through the form, and must say that its an amazing place.

I was hoping to show up for the Japshow but was put down by the weather, also the missus wasnt around, so didnt bother to travel all the way from Wales alone...

I am hoping to attend JAE, can you please book a place for me and my car (Galant 2.0 GLX modified to Sport - in the process)!

Can I go ahead and purchase a ticket?

Regards
Zaid
