Tappet or Not

Is it worth replacing noisey tappets, if so roughly how much for the lot inc labour (in your experiences)

If the noisey one is in the front set can just these be replaced to save a lot of time and money.

search on "Lash Adjusters" I think Nick Mann has done a how to if you are DIY'ing it or, budget around £1K if you want to pay a dealer.

There have been plenty of suggestions on the forum, from oil flushes to replcaements, do a seach on tappets.

I am nearly succeeding in getting a group buy together. Cost will be £200 tops doing the job yourself. I am more than willing to help - one idea is a group weekend of lash adjuster changing!!
