I would just plead ignorance and say you knew nothing about it being non-standard :book:

I have big bore thing 4 to 5 inches across on a vr-4 i am thinking of buying. don,t know if its a full after market or just a back box. the size of the pipe from back box to mid section seems about the same 3 inches. how much would a second hand one go for.

Why change the Zorst ?? Why not change your insurance company :inquisiti

Try to keep the one you have, you shouldnt have any issues really.

Value wise, a few hundred quid i reckon.

oh no too quick, can't handle the input.

What insurance company?

Is that few hundered quid extra on the insurance to keep the mod exhaust or few hundred for the second hand standard one?

Yes they do club discount :2thumbsup

Don@t know what age, location or whether you got clean licence and full no claims . But as a rough idea for price, i pay £440 for all mods declared, with full no claims, no points, 39 years young, in a lowish area, guanteed no claims..

Don'y take the first quote, shop around but try Lifesure first and Last

well i have agreed to buy the car, so i will be interested in the exhaust, once i have had a good look at the one i buying. and checked with the insurance to see the difference it makes.

do we have discount with both of the insurance companies, do they have a web address or is it just a phone up job.

Cheers again

Dave

Both are easily found with google searches. They are supposed to do club discounts, but there seems to be a reason why they don't after you tell them! They can both do good prices though.

If you really need to swap to original then you could see if anyone with an original wants to swap?

Footman James Insurance is a very very good insurance company for FTO's and VR4's, I shopped around and then got it for £465 unlimited mileage.

Damn you guys pay alot in insurance over there! I am under 25, do not hold a full license and car is never garaged yet still only pay the equivalent of £170 per year.
