front wheel bearing removal

Hi all , I,m trying to remove the front wheel bearing hub assembly on a 2000 galant and am having trouble sliding the cv back away from the bearing mounting bolts , the nut & washer are off ,am i mising something here or is this a comon thing. any tips or tricks greatly appreciated

its pretty common /wall the only thing you can do is keep hitting it, soak it in wd40.. hit it again.. it will become free at some point.
