gearbox assembly layout

changed engine and the starter is grinding with flywheel need to pull the gearbox out again. may have missed a spacer out anybody know where to get the torque converter/gearbox assembly layout

I got a pdf copy of the US galant service manual some time ago from the TGC forum in the US.

Its not for the VR4, just the 'vanilla' Galant, but still the sections 23a and 23b would probably help you out, but they are 22Mb!

Is there some way I can get this to you?

I've attached what might be a useful image INSERT INTO post VALUES (quality is pretty low though)

whaat i was looking for was the assembly layout from the block to the gearbox

eg:crank-spacer-cross thingy-spacer-cross thingy-torque converter

the two cross thingy are x shaped and join the crank to the flywheel

my starter crunches when engaged

so im pulling the gearbox out again
