Offset not quite right - we should use 46mm. And aren't 45 section tyres 'correct' for the Galant? Anyone run 40 sections on 17" rims?

I would imagine that the offset will be okay, but don't quote me! The tyres are as you say, far too small!!

I had a set of 17" alloys for my last V6 and they had 40 profiles on - they were just plain wrong, looked wrong and drive wrong, 17"s ideally need 225/45/17 tyres.
