1998 plus. It is the facelift version. If it is a tiptronic it would also be 280 hp instead of 260hp.

Although usually the facelift models have plastic moulds on the wheel arches. Maybe this is a type V rather than a type S? It does have the facelift bumpers.

ITS SAME AS MINE BUT IVE GOT NO BACK WIPER AND IVE GOT WHEEL ARCHES ,IS IT BECAUSE MINE IS 2001 MODEL AND A UK CAR? :rolleyes5

no....its just that the first owner was too tight to pay for the rear wiper!!! Only joking :-D Yours must be the first we're aware of that doesn't have a rear wiper.............Can you post pictures of your car.........

It's a Type-V model, lower spec than the Type-S.

What makes it lower spec? The engine has the same power. The only difference mechanically is narrower rubber and the possibility of a manual box? Just curious....

Type-Vs don't have AYC either. From what I see most 'Problem' posts about, I think a manual Type-V would be a good bet for someone like.... ME! :-D

Type-V's come in auto or manual, it's an option when u buy it just like the Type-S (this is from Japan).

No AYC, funky dash (speedo), flares on the wheel arcs (smaller tyres u see) for the Type-V's. Bhp/kw is the same.
