this is probably common knowledge to you guys but thought you might want to know that if your lower ball joint goes on your car, it seems the recall only applies to the "straight" arm rather than the "curly" arm.
found this out today when asking for a replacement...
they knew my car had been done by asking for my reg plate.
also thanks to richy rich, i bought the ball joing (curly not straight) from camskill for a darned site cheaper than dealership!

about 120 quid for the pair from matey in germany and next day delivery included

but would matey take it back if it didnt fit and is there any warranty on it?

yup , and in my opinion it was a better made arm than the mitsu one

got it fitted last night
cost owt to fit (i do the mechanic's pooters)
drives fine now :D
ive the old one in the boot the ball joint was booogggered big style!
