It occured to me that my car wasnt nearly annoying enough, so i went for the trademe special:2thumbsup

Seems to work fine for a no name brand, and after reading the other thread, i followed kenneths advice, and like magic, no idle problems at all (had me worried for a bit tho).

i'll have to do something more permanent to tie it up off the road, but for now it does the job.

haha, it should do. I once came out of a roundabout, floored it in 2nd then let up the gas because I saw some people crossing the road a fair way up (heaps of time for me to slow, or stop if needed). PTTTSSSSHHH next thing, they look back and start running across the road as fast as they can.

:laugh: I don't know why but i think this mod is the best by far. I'm already coping ***t from my mates, and by rights it shouldn't make the slightest difference, but seeing people jump (especially cyclists) is way way more fun than it should be.:2thumbsup

Yeah, i copped it a bit too... until they were in the car, then I got "that sounds f**ken cool!" especially when I went past some concrete wall or something with the window down ;)

I think that's the difference - generally when I hear a loud BOV I tend not to think too highly of it, but if you're in the car with the loud BOV making the noise it's a different story :)

My old car had a fairly loud BOV, have to admit I liked scaring people with it. One night I was in the car park of a sporting complex and saw my work mate walking so I couldn't resist...accelerated hard up to about 80 and lifted my foot...he needed to change his nappies.
